Start with the exact product
Manufacturers and public relations representatives may propose products for editorial consideration. Identify the company, current model, intended animals, official specifications, availability and a contact who can answer follow-up questions.
Samples and imagery
Provide links to product images and explain who owns them and what publication permission is offered. Tell us whether a proposed sample is a loan, gift or purchase, its value, return requirements and timing. Do not ship a sample until the publisher accepts the arrangements.
Independent coverage
A submission or accepted sample does not guarantee publication, a favorable conclusion, a score or placement in a buying guide. Paid promotions are handled separately. Untested products are labeled research features; hands-on reviews require documented testing and disclosures.
